What Is A Mini Refrigerator?

Mini refrigerator models have been around for over thirty years. Essentially they are refrigerators that are generally smaller than your standard under the counter refrigerator.

There are two types of refrigerators named mini refrigerators these days. There is the compact or cube refrigerator which essentially looks like a standard fridge but is a great deal smaller, then there is the modern portable mini refrigerator which is often a plastic cased fridge with a carry handle which is generally big enough to take a six pack of cans and nothing more.

Compact mini refrigerators vary in size from 1.7 cuft through to 3.7cu ft and come with or without ice compartments. Portable mini refrigerators are generally available with carrying capacity for 6 cans down to single can refrigerators.
