When it comes to compact mini refrigerators the main brands to look out for are Sanyo, Haier, Magic Chef, Danby and Avanti.
Sanyo offer a limited range of compacts, ranging from 1.7 cu ft through to 3.5cu ft. They come generally in black or white color options and tend to be priced at the expensive end of the market. They are generally highly reliable.
Haier have an extensive range of mini refrigerators including many color options and sizes with various storage options so you could find up to three varieties of storage option per common size. This is great and offers the buyer massive flexibility. On costs, haier compete vigoursly and you can often find great value and reliability in their range.
Magic chef have a smaller range than haier but again compete on price leading to some good bargains. Danby are great value but limited choice, but do offer a wider variety of color options and Avanti have a wide range of models but reading on the web convinces me their reputation is tarnished by reliability issues.
